Yes I have one and its great.
Mine is made from a survivor 308 and Larry made the rim cut so I can still shoot 308's from it.
The 307 IS the same rim diameter as the 30/30 @ .506. The body is larger on the 307/308 compaired to the 30/30.
The 30/40 is another excellent case but much bigger .545 rim. Brass is scarcer and more costly, ballistically its half way between 30/30 & 308/307.
If you have a 30/30, I would recommend the AI as its doable by hand and will approximate the 307 's lo end. Brass will be cheaper, you can still fire reg 30/30 and it will be cheaper all around.
If you have a 308, cut the rim and experiment. Simple extractor mod will allow seamless use of both cases.
