Sportsman's Warehouse back in town!!
« on: February 26, 2013, 10:27:48 AM »
SW just bought back a bunch of the NW stores they sold to Wholesale Sports a few years ago, dunno if it's good or bad, but hopefully they'll keep the shelves stocked better than they have in the past.

Wonder if its all the stores that went a few years ago to wholesale?  Hopefully it is but concerned since the big C is about two miles away from the store in Lacey.  Hate to see it close down always nice to not have to take a number to look at a firearm.  Usually the prices are lower than the big C also.

I've bought several rifles from SW, a couple 38-55 Targets($299 and $317), a 223 Ultra($240), a CZ452 American($320) and a Tikka T-3 Lite SS($465), all were great buys.  ;)

I hear from the store in Coeur d' Alene that SW is only going to sell off the inventory and close the doors .

I sure miss that store. I wish they'd open back up here. I don't understand why they closed it. The place was packed every time I went there. They had to be doing banner business.

They're putting an Academy Sports in Lawton. Kinda like a SW, but more like a brother from a different mother. ::)

Thanks, Dinny

You can find a bargain at Academy sometimes Dinny.
And they kind of keep some of the local guys semi-honest on pricing too.

Our local sportsmans is a ghost town in all the dept's that I care to be in. Gotta hit em on thursday mornings to see what they got in on the wed night truck! Gotta love swing shift.
I hate when i miss. But when I do, I can always come up with a reason why.
