Thanx, that's the best laugh I've had all week.  I do agree with Quick on this, if it came to it, I'd use factory 00 buck loads or my .32 round ball home cast, hand loads.

I'd prefer #1 Buck for the old 16 gauge :)

i see by the box they are 12 gauge.
won't they offer these in 10 gauge
for the consumer that wants a little
more bite on both ends?
i can live with the #6 shot.
i use #6 black box win turkey.
do you hold on the head end as
with turkeys when drone popping?
what is the correct nomenclature
when referring to drones?
drone blasting? drone scattering?
how are a group of drones referred to?
a gaggle of drones? a flock of drones?
some here might say a murder of drones
would be appropriate. drone squadron?
whole new line of thinking to be
ironed out here. . . . . :-\

Drones are solitary, only seen alone (if seen at all!) unless caught hanging out in a hanger!  ;D

They roost on the ground, so ground sluicing wouldn't be very sporting.  ;)

Well now that looks like it might work and let a few gather to roost on the ground and 'voila' a great setup for " skillet shot"! Of course I have always been against "skillet shots" on game birds but a bunch of raucous drones, well that is a another story!

You could get shot setting out your decoys too.  Better get them out before daylight.

...in my military travels, while i wouldn't want to be on the business end of a drone...it's a fire and forget. It's the sustained hell of a Stealth or an Apache that would make me weep(among other things.)

I think they have the wrong drone on the box.  The type of drones we're going to be seeing here in the US are very similar to toy RC helicopters and only will only be carrying cameras (or so they say.)  I know if ones flying in my airspace, it will see the wrath of my pellet gun.  But now were getting too off topic.  I'd be in a whole lot of trouble if I fired any of my shotguns in my yard...

That is indeed a sad statement. I wouldn't be living there very long, drones or no drones.

Hate to say it guys but in most areas these are limited to steel shot only, or bismuth, hevi-shot or the like. Prepare to spend a lot for clean drops, or prepare to chase cripples, steels cheaper but really lacks punch. :D

What kind of call do you use?  Do you use the "scrambled egg hat of life member of the NRA" as its decoy?  That seems to be the first target...
