Even if they only made $10 each (for instance) on a gussied up version like this and more on the others like they are offering now it is
still a profit and developing market share and customer loyalty; how does a company value that? We can tell how much they value that by what they are offering. A future of a company has to have a vision of a future beyond just cutting the product line to the bone. Doing that, IMHO, is a slow route to demise.
For instance, they already are paying somebody to screw on a stockset, it isnt going to cost them any more to put on BC or CR or TDC wood (note I said 'put on'), just charge for the wood 'upgrade' in the pricing structure. This isnt 'rocket science', its marketing 101.
