I was turkey hinting a few years back and was watching a doe and 2 fawn on the edge of the field. A coyote came out and the Doe started to exit, but when the coyote started to follow she went after it. The coyote was much smarter than the dog but still got the idea and left the fawns alone. Those little feet can put a can of whoop a-- on you in Short order.
