I feel naked without my knife.  I don't like being unarmed.

I agree, i was in chicago one weekend where they have a 2.5" cap on pocket knives, and even then don't allow them ina lot of places. It just felt wrong.

Not that I disagree with the allowel(word?)of small pockets knives, but what's the difference between those knives and a boxcutter(911)?

I think my Barlow qualifies.
If you give up, THEY don't have to win.

The Founding Fathers had complete access to the Bible, but they came up with the Constitution as our governing document.

Free men do not have to ask permission to carry knives. Thank a Republican for creating the TSA.

Give me a break.....

I see the truth struck a nerve:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transportation_Security_Administration

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that exercises authority over the security of the traveling public in the United States.[1]
The TSA was created as part of the Aviation and Transportation Security Act, sponsored by Don Young in the United States House of Representatives[2] and Ernest Hollings in the Senate,[3] passed by the 107th U.S. Congress, and signed into law by President George W. Bush on November 19, 2001. Originally part of the United States Department of Transportation, the TSA was moved to the Department of Homeland Security on March 9, 2003.

Exactly. A few guys with box cutters vs. A few dozen with pocket knives. It wouldn't have been close to a fight. I understand why shooting a gun on a plane would be disastrous, scientifically speaking, but someone needs to be able to defend themselves and the other passengers with SOMETHING

Everyone should be allowed to carry a handgun ever where at all times. Crime as we know it would vanish. I know some one is already posting "the the hijackers will have guns" . Well what will a few among many do other than get shot !

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
