Uncertain Times we live in
« on: March 06, 2013, 10:56:35 AM »
Academy is the sporting goods store with generally the most ammo options and at present just about all they have on the shelf is small shot lead and steel shot shotgun shells, the high dollar specialty ammo and oldies like the 300 savage. The clerk says there are 40 to 60 people waiting every morning their shipment comes in and all the ammo is gone by 11 am. Now explain just how much confidence Americans have in their government. Of course Holder says Obama can kill us if he wants and many feel this is a bit much. Even a lefty ought to see something is wrong here.

Yes the times are  uncertain, to say the least. Ted Cruse of Texas made him admit it in the senate today that shooting a citizen who was not posing an eminent threat was not within constitutional law.
Now we know if they decide to zap you with a drone "they" will have already made the case that you are a threat.

If government would stick to it's original intent there would not be any threat real or imagined from it's citizens anyway. Maybe you would have to count the Bill Ayers style leftists as a threat but hey they are in charge!

NO, most real American have NO confidence in our govt. Millions, like me, for the first time in their lives, fear the abomination in the whitehouse. The feds have become intrusive, domineering, and a royal PITA. The epa is intentionally imposing restrictions against coal and forcing power plants to close down just as an example. Folks eyes are finally opening up about husseins build up of his so called, unneeded homeland security. They see the day when that arrogant illegal kenyan orders OUR soldiers to fire on us. Hussein is pure evil, he is Gods punishment on what has become a morally bankrupt nation. Thank a couple liberals today. POWDERMAN.  >:( >:(

That is true. And when you see some of the posts here these days you see that those leftist have followers. Heck some believe Hugo Chavez was a good guy! It will be interesting to watch the next four years.funny how those that don't wanna work to get ahead think socialism is a good thing. Happens every now and then in history.

It's not just the tyrants in government I don't trust.  I don't trust the tyrants among the citizenry who impower those in government through their own selfish sense of entitlement to a job, a home, transportation, clothing, foodstuffs, health care, and a retirment that they feel no responsibility to plan for or finance.  Obama might wish he were King or wish he were Dictator, but he could not occupuy the position he holds without being impowered to do so by our fellow Americans.  Thus, he is not the problem, but a symptom of the greater problem -a sense of entitlement among the citzenry compunded by a lack of personal responsibility and accountability and no appreciation at all for liberty and freedom.
As long as we have citizens who seem to believe that government is the solution to personal problems and who engage in emotive thought rather than reliance upon logic and reason, the risk of tyrany is strong and very real.

The only good thing about the standard leftist gimme scum is that they won't put up much of a fight. Buzzards and coyotes will eat well.

There was a time when the word Communist brought a bad taste in the mouth. These were the folks that wanted control over everything you did and you would either do it their way or they'd kill you. Nikita Kruschev while beating his shoe on the table said "We shall destroy you from within". He was right, we are being destroyed from within only you can replace the word Communist with Democrat. And it's a possibility that the word Republican could also be used. Kruschev also said something very relevant to our nation today. He said " If you live among dogs, keep a stick. After all, this is what a hound has teeth for- to bite when he feels like it".
