I remember that.  Burt Reynolds' performance was powerful in Smokey and the Bandit, but he really showed this depth of his acting abilities in Smokey and the Bandit II.

I visited New Orleans the day after Mardi Gras and I smelled a bunch of drunks passed out on the street......'twas the penetrating vapors of vomit and urine in about 98 percent humidity and 88 degrees on the thermometer :P :o  that stench will haunt me forever....

Forty two years ago I would have resembled that remark! But forty years ago you could sleep in the street and only go to jail. Now jail would be a safe place to be in N.O. and jail is scary most places. I gotta go get Dog food. Have you see how much that stuff costs now. That'll make ya puke.

I am going to guess it depends on the kennel breeder list of most worthy (note---most costly) but it could be that the Asians have a costper pound of hounds for their own recipe---you eat one dog, you can't tell the difference IMO.
Getting back to the original is not the OP it is the first HJ'er---get back to you on that one when I start smoking fat boys again.

Pound Sterling = silver .   the Silverbird is from East Africa.    Pound Starling - nah,  Starlings only weigh a few ounces, so it may take 5 or 6 of them to make a pound.
