New poll on "SAFE" act
« on: March 08, 2013, 02:49:48 AM »
Just heard new poll claims 60% of NY'ers are ok with "SAFE" act.   Downstate rules!  We are so screwed!  http://www.cnycentral.com/news/story.aspx?id=854246

Normally I simply do not trust polls condcuted in nys.  1,100 were polled from a population of 16 million, hardly statistically significant but at least it was upstate and I agree that taken again in another week might yet show him further down in popularity than when it was originally taken.  If we can continue the push that we started in albany on 2/28, it should drop even further and the 3/28 rally schedueld to be held in Syracuse should help drop his numbers even more.

I agree that nyc should be a separate state and that upstate should finally be free of the burden of nyc.  However, that cesspool won't ever get independent statehood if it is postioned that way - we would have to find someone for governor who would take it from a nyc standpoint - like 'Free the City' from the burden of supporting upstate (which it does not but thinks it does).  I think that if you take it from that sort of a standpoint we may be much more likely, with the right governor, to drop that cesspool off our tax rolls.

One of the things we ned to work on is kwomo's knee-jerk reactionism and 'over the top' rantings when things go wrong for him.  The more we can goad him into saying/doing those things his arrogant immaturity simply cannot handle the further down the scale his approval rating will go.  We need a good honest news outlet and a decent media publication to spread the word and keep spreading it to contrast the liars who support him now.  On issues, the economy is a good example.  First it was the shale gas - now that there has been a EnCon hold on drilling and another probable 2 yr wait for any approval to drill, thousands of upstaters stand to lose drilling lease incentives and jobs as a result.  In addition, with this gun ban of his, when asked about the offers Remington hass to move south he simply responded - let them leave.  Like he gives one squat about the upstate economy and this is the sort of thing that should be thrown at him time and time again until he explodes in frustration and opens his stupid mouth again.  I think that if we keep pounding on him he will self destruct and completely cripple his chances for the White House in 16.

Now, here's a psy-ops thought:::  If we can find the right candidate (GOP please) for gov in '14, someone who can whip prince andy's butt in open debate and level it off to fact, not fantasy or emotion or fiction, and call him on it continuously like Romney did in his debates with obama, and just keep hammerin' on his butt until he caps off, we might be able to return nys to gop leadership (kwomo is no o bama whenit comes to crying emotion) but we have to promise to do something for the upstate economy to get the upstate city votes we need to get back into office.  And while we are at it, we should recognize our native Americans as soverign indigenous and treat them accordingly by bringing them into the fold of business, education and healthcare by giving them the same political favors the dems give the inner cities; leaving the native Americans out of the equation is pure stupidity.  I firmly believe our native Americans will respond much more positively to that sort of a offer that those in the cities with their hands out who expect it.  Our candidate needs to be someone who might be able to gain audience with billary to support her efforts for the White House in '16 if she positively considers statehood for nyc.

Consider this - let's say we run a successful psy-ops campaign and andy gets the boot.  He is then history, the same way sobama will be history in 16.  Hillary on the other hand will be right where she wants to be, in front of every other dem in the field.  Let's say we offer her our 'mutual' support if she supports a move for a new york city 'push' for statehood.  Let's face it, with a gop gov we can shove off a lot of federal initiatives, after the election, but get the prize for giving both kwomo and nyc the boot.  I figure upstate would probably save so much in tax monies and other fees that we could offer to pay the federal share that would be paid by the surrounding states, for 5 years to get their support, and still be able to keep 40-50% of what upstate (we) currently pays in property and school taxes, not to mention the bond $ that nyc has ripped out of our wallets over the past 30 years.  This would allow us to offer industry the real opportunity to grow in this state without the burden of supporting nyc.  Just a crazy ol psy-ops thought......or two....

I think there is just too much of a chance now to throw it away by not doing anything.  I am all in favor of a psy-ops operation here, and I ain't worried about either hobama or holder dropping a drone on me in the process.......

Some times I wounder if the people they poll are selected some how to get the out come they want.
Every pole I have voted in this year (8 to 10 ) shows, 78% to 90% against gun control when I voted and they usually had thousands of respondents. So how come all their polls on  a state and national level never reflect what I have observed?

Tom:  "Some times I wounder if the people they poll are selected some how to get the out come they want".  You got that one right buddy.  This is exactly what they do.  The quinipiac (sp?) poll is usually a bit more objective but not by enough to say they don't skew their selection criteria.  The worst of all is the marist poll, taken at marist college, a liberal holdout in pughkeepsie, another lib-dem hangout and the poll itself is often taken amongst the liberal students there.

This is why I never believe polls taken in nys, the results are never truthfully revealed or even stated.  You can expect most any media outlet to sponsor anything prince andrew wants to forward.  I expect that when the revolution comes, the first places to burn will be the newspaper offices - you simply cannot count on them to be truthful any longer and they should be replaced.  I'm thinking about a new media outlet, The American Tass (Truth) - doancha luvit.......
