The problem with the two party system is that both major parties see that as ONLY two parties, which makes us one party more than China. The average Chinese person, as well as most of the world, can't tell the difference between our two parties. I personally see the two party system as intending AT LEAST two parties. Some here seem critical of my being independent and thus not being allowed to vote in the primaries; when anybody that runs is simply a talking head for their party, it does not matter who wins the primary, except to the opponents. BOTH parties refuse to consider a general election ballot with a "None of the Above" vote, because then they would have to face the fact that neither party represents the people in general. I haven't voted FOR a candidate for over thirty years. I've been forced to vote against the one I felt was worse. Sometimes that worse candidate is one side, sometimes the other.
The fundamental difference between me and those of you like IG is that I KNOW that hard work is not enough by itself--- if it were, my boyhood as a sharecropper's kid would have made me a millionaire. Or maybe y'all don't think chopping cotton, picking cotton, hauling hay and snaking logs is hard work. Hard work by itself will do nothing but kill you. It killed my grandpa, my grandmother, and most of my aunts and uncles, and they could work an average person to death. So tell me, how many of y'all keep going back to the card table when you KNOW the dealer is cheating? That's what you're asking the very poor to do.
Keep calling me a communist if it make you feel better; it just shows anyone who reads this that y'all don't even know what the word means.
