.45ACP cartriges can be exchanged for greenbacks on a one for one basis.
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.

I don't own a 45 cal pistol, but I did find a couple of unfired ones at my favorite shootin place. I'll put em in the piggy bank ;)

Here is my dilemma ... You gonna bring a sack of gold to buy a loaf of bread and some groceries?  You better have those 45's and a revolver to  go wit em. Not to mention the fact that , sure they will take your gold, but you going to get your change in paper money???  I'm gonna keep collecting lead.  ;)   Lead  and spam and beans, the lead to protect the other two.  Might even trade in lead. And " we" will deliver.

Need twice the lead, but no Spam, only the beans.  Got all the fresh meat I need, without all the salt that's in the Spam.  Just need the lead to bring it home.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Don't be dissing the spam! It's not for everyday use. Yea it has some salt in it but it doesn't need refrigeration. With some beans and spam you don' t need to add much salt. On top of all that it makes excellent catfish bait. Did I say it doesn't need refrigeration .  :-\

When tshtf y'all will wish you had some of my gol......errrrr spam!

In reality it may be worth it's weight in gold at some point. We all can't live in Alaska you know!  :D

SPAM (Stuff Posing As Meat)

OK OldShooter, you are right!  It ain't all bad.....I ate a ton of the stuff growing up, that and SoS....dad ate a lot of both in Korea, (that man really loves SoS....) so as a kid, if mom was out and dad was making breakfast, or lunch....or dinner....fried spam and eggs, fried spam and cheese, or spam and beans...sometimes Spamdogs...slices of fried spam on a bun with chili and onions.  OR....good old SoS, something I still love, and my boys do too, to this day.

Thus my quip about hunting camp was based on real life!!!  It is the stuff I love to not love....to be taken in moderation for sure, but I still crack a can now an then, especially if dad is coming over....paybacks!

Well i have to apologize to NW Hunter. Seems spam has hijacked the thread.   ???

I do have some gold around here somewhere in a watch or ring or sumpn.

Now back to spam.  ;D   Like you johnpaul its from my past, like gospel music and real Christmas trees, just can't get away from it.

I do think that spam may be more valuable than gold if shtf. Is that in any way redeeming NW Hunter?
