Rand Paul's filibuster
« on: March 09, 2013, 09:46:04 AM »
  How is it nobody has posted concerning the brilliant filibuster conducted by Rand Paul?  The move was brilliant and opened many eyes to some obvious truths they somehow missed.
  I will observe him closely..who knows, I may become a "Paulista".. ;)   I would like to see a president from the heartland anyway.
  Here's a 5 min interview with Hannity..
  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsC_dLmdjQk
     Paul's notions on the 2nd amendment are at 3:15..the brilliant Hank Johnson (D-GA)  ..of  "Guam tipover" fame, is quoted at about 4:00..
  Follow this vid to youtube , and you will see parts of Paul's filibuster..

 I was very impressed with RP, he showed a dedication to Country that's sadly lacking in our current political system. He's a patriot.  J

McCain and Lindsey Graham criticized Paul, but they looked very petty...and probably best demonstrated just what is defective in the current Republican party.

I like Rand Paul, generally speaking.
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

I voted for his father and I would also vote for him. Are the Pauls the only politicians who give a crap about our freedoms anymore? As for John McCain I wish I could go back in time and vote for Bob Barr or write in Ron Paul. I would rather throw my vote away than vote for someone like McCain.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

 My S.C. hunting buddies are pretty ticked off about Lindsey Grahams comments concerning RP, they are vowing to look hard at his challenger in future primaries. I have seen John M for what he is for years. He would, in my opinion, make an excellent and viable democrat.  J

Is this the only good thing I'v seen out of DC in about 20 years?

  Ear;
    Good for you..I have a feeling that more will be supporting him soon..

  We conservatives have got to quit falling for liberal spin.  Some have fallen for liberal tricks and turned against solid conservatives such a Palin and Santorum..   Real conservatives & hunters should not fall for that old gambit!
