Is this big enough?
« on: March 10, 2013, 04:06:58 AM »
Is anyone familar with the .950 JDJ?  It's a 2400 grain bullet at 2100 fps, 23,500 ft.lb. muzzle energy and 270 ft.lb recoil energy.

I think this one maybe big enough, assuming it has been rechambered to Mr. Ackley's specifications. ::)

Gotta love a gun that is known by the name Gustaf.

My brother fired these 16" guns for a 4 year stretch during the Korean war, he was in the #3 turret aft.  Unfortunately, I only fired the somewhat smaller hardware, named after Gen Patton.. ;) ;D
