OK found you some more! http://www.gunauction.com/buy/11858869/ammo-for-sale-hunting-shooting/rifle-ammo/junior-22-long-rifle-rim-fire-hunting-cartridges    ;D

Its russian steel cased rim fire... Rat the dog spured my memory that I had a box on my ''savin ammo'' shelf. ;)

You might get so many mis-fires that the only thing it is good for is 'flinch practice'.

I judge .22 ammo by what my Walther P22 will eat, and price. Honestly, it likes the Remington that comes in the flat green box the best. It wont cycle Federal at all and Winchester is sporadic. I am refering to all bulk boxes. I have never bucked up the extra coin to buy CCI or any other "high end" .22 but I'm sure they would work great.

I thought Remington's were bad, until I bought a box of 333 Winchester at bass pro shops.  They make Remington's look like match grade stuff.  I will avoid Winchester rimfire at all costs.

The thunder bolts I shot made many different sounds but no ftf, gave the rest of the brick away with a warning. Did some shooting with my brother  in law, he was shooting white box winchester and had the same problem. I was shooting some 14 year old rem golden and had no problem.

Never had a problem with Remington ammo.   It's your gun.

It must have been 3 different guns on the day in question then because the Remington ammo was damn near worthless in all of them.
