Honda 350 Rancher Shift Problem...
« on: March 10, 2013, 11:26:57 AM »
 I have a Honda 350 Rancher ES…

It’s a 2004 model…

At times I can’t get it to shift from neutral to 1st or visa versa…

If I rock the quad while trying to shift, it will go to the appropriate gear or neutral…

Is there an adjustment on this or is it just something worn out or is it an electrical problem as it is an electrical shift?...

Any thoughts or anyplace on the Net that I can possible go to get the answer to correct this problem?...

Thanks…BCB

I have a 02  rancher es and it does the same thing always has, I just figgered that's how it was. Be interested to see what comes up.

You tube might have answers, its always been a go to for me, from everything from animal skinning to  shade tree mechanic stuff.

Only experience I ever had with the ES Hondas was bad so i don't mess with them.  Take a look at the link I offer and see what you learn.  Try both the tech tips section and the forum.  Good luck.  http://www.nyrocatv.com/

How often do you change the oil and filter???

I have a buddy that had that problem, he is one that doesn't believe in
regular maintenance...Changing the oil and filter corrected the problem...
