Yet another elitist hypocrit

Mark Kelly and his wife, former congresswoman Gabby Giffords, testified at the Colorado state capitol in support of more gun control for that state on March 4. Democrats in the Colorado legislature are pushing "high capacity" magazine bans, bans on private firearm sales, new taxes on firearm sales, and a repeal of a law allowing concealed carry permit holders to carry a firearm for self-defense on a university campus.
They are also seeking to dissuade "assault weapons" ownership via SB 13-196, which allows "assault weapons" manufacturers to be sued for the illegal use of the firearms.
As he has done in pro-gun control testimony before the U.S. Congress in recent months, Kelly voiced support for this Democrat-led push for more gun control. He intimated that the gun control push could keep us all safer by keeping "dangerous people" from getting guns.
Ironically, on March 5--the day after giving his pro-gun control testimony in Col.--Kelly purchased a 1911-style semi-automatic pistol and an "assault rifle" at Diamondback Police Supply in Tucson, AZ. Witnesses in the store claim he also bought "high capacity" magazines.

Brett, read that article too. Not sure which one you read, but in the one I did, he stated that his point was to prove how easy it was to buy firearms like this. Uh HUH!! Kinda like the police officer that was caught with a lb. of weed, and his excuss was, I was going to turn it in tomorrow. Yea right. gypsyman

Yeah, the outright lie, and quite frankly assumption the general public are ignorant.  He said he bought the firearms so he would have first hand knowledge of how easy it was to purchase them (paraphrased).  Yet the article I read further stated he and Gabby were handgun owners and supporters of the 2A.....so it begs the questions, is he just lying because he got "caught" in a hypocrisy?  Or did someone else purchase his and Gabby's other firearms for them? (straw purchase) Or is he just too damn dumb to remember the process?

Misdirection by the gun grabbers...."lookie here, our poster boy just bought these evil weapons!  See how easy it is!"  (shhhhh, don't mention the guy is an ex-astronaut with a squeaky clean background and SHOULD be able to buy the guns....the sheeple won't ever know!)
