NICE catfish!  That is almost exactly 3 time bigger than my largest cat!  They hit like a ton of bricks sometimes and run like you just hooked into a train ;D   Love that river fishing!!!

Good choice letting it go, I prefer the 2-6lb range as eaters. Give us the full story, interested to know your bait of choice, method, etc. Also welcome to GBO.
