10/22 Magazines, Really?

So, just the other day my nephew stops over with his 10/22 rifle. He has no magazine for it and wants to borrow mine, I only have one for my rifle and gave it to him. I say, its ok, I will get more for both of us. Ha ha ha ha ha. The joke is on me. They are not available anywhere. This caught me by complete surprise, and that usually does not happen. I will not pay inflated prices for one. I will sell the rifle before I do that.  >:(

Lesson learned.  ALL magazines are in short supply, especially those over 7 rounds.  NY has a 7 round limit, feds are pushing a 10 round limit.  Colorado might pass a 15 round limit.  Might find one at a gun show, but might be high.  Hopefully the union gun owning dems will vote for a republican or independent so we can gain control of the senate as well as the house next year.  Enough is enough.  Now they are talking taking over pensions, IRA's, and 401k's to pool all the "retirement" money into social security to "spread the wealth around".  Idea is to give raises to all SS recipiants and all would be equal.  Lazy welfare bums would get the same as everyone who worked and saved.  This is nothing but pure communism.  Gun control, magazine control, ammo control, retirement money control, health care control, what you eat and drink control.  I want my freedoms back.  How about you guys?

   It's the consumers making these prices what they are.  What was once passed over because they were so widely available is not a hot commodity.   Glad when they popped up for $5-10 I grabbed 'em.  The clear ones...grabbed those when I found 'em in the $15-17 range.  This was way before this current frenzy pushing them up in price.  Recently sold a pair of clear one for $70.  It's crazy but that's what the buyer was willing to pay.    Have probably an average of 3 for each of the 18 10/22's here.    Of course finding the ammo to load into them is the other difficult part.


  They're a 4-5 week wait from Ruger last I was told.

go to shopruger.com and order them directly from RUGER.
 
Unless you find someone with them on hand, they need to go through RUGER's hands before they go to suppliers.

RUGER does currently have a limit of  5 per customer because of the huge demand at this time.
 
BE prepaired to wait your turn on the phone.
 
Because of a new 10/22, I ordered some today, 3 - 10 shot and one 25 shot.  The 25shot was on BO for sure.
 
I also tried the ones I have for the 77/22, and although I thought they were the same except for the bottom profile, the 77/22 mag. did not fit well.
