POSITIVE EXTRACTION FOR USH?

Has anyone converted their 20 gauge Ultra Slug Hunter to positive extraction? Sometimes I get a shell that sticks and without a drop rod or cleaning rod I can't reload. It only takes a little bump with the rod to get the shell to eject but I would rather have positive extraction for hunting reliability.

Thanks, but I already read that sticky and that's not my problem.  I understand the newer guns have positive extraction and that's what I'm after.

You could carry a lead ball with you that will roll down the barrel to knock the shell out.  Not exactly a fix but easier to carry than a wood dowel.

Good idea. My 20 ush sticks soemetimes when I shoot my fullbore slugs.

Thanks, but I already read that sticky and that's not my problem.  I understand the newer guns have positive extraction and that's what I'm after.

Centerfire rifles have been extractors since ~2007,  rimfires and shotguns are all still ejectors.

Have you done the ejector tune and added the BB? If not do not pass go, return to the workshop and do so asap 
I like the big ball idea, but you could also file a small notch at the rim area to get one of those small pocket screwdriver tips in to pop a slightly stuck shell.

Or just return it to H&R for repair, they may even cover return shipping if you ask, hard to beat their repair service.
