Never a dumb question
« on: March 19, 2013, 05:44:47 PM »
I'm sure you have all herd the only dumb question is the one not asked. In a previous post some one asked about converting a Glock 21 to shoot 10 Mil.  So my question is, Since 1x  S&W 10 cases are easier and less $$ to find could a glock 21 be converted  with a bbl & mags to  shoot S&W 10's??

In short, yes, it can be done with a replacement barrel and mag.  But, there is a difference in the extractors between the two, which may or may not cause reliability issues.  The slide on the 10mm Glock is a little heavier in weight, and the recoil spring a little stronger as well, something to consider if you shoot a lot of full power loads.
