Lee 45 Gap Dies ( will they work on 45 acp ?)

Recently ran across a set of Lee 45 Gap dies for sale. Can these be used for 45 ACP ? I know a Gap is shorter but didn't know if there were any other differences.

I just called Lee Precision to ask if the opposite was true. The lady said, if I remember correctly, was that the GAP would load the .45 ACP but not visa versa.
