Ad Block Plus and Google Chrome = NO MORE POP UP HELL on GBO. Ad block is free.

According to GB there are no popups on GBO, so I'm sure I have no idea what you are talking about.

Of course, I've been using Firefox and AdBlockPlus (along with No Script and DoNotTrack) for a long enough time it could be advertising Armageddon and I'd not notice!

(Sarcasm aside, this approach was mentioned in Forum Support a while back, so AdBlockPlus or becoming a GBO supporter by sending money are the two official ways I know of to rid the forums of the ads.)

When I use Firefox, no adds.   When I use Explorer, there is adds.

I added the ad blocker to my google and they went away. Before they had become nearly debilitating, so form those who are in my situation it may be a godsend. 1 search and two left clicks problem solved.


With IE this place becomes a hybrid of screen saver and wall paper.  :D

Same here....Firefox and AddBlock Plus along with No script.....Haven't used DoNot Track....I'm looking into that add on....thanks for pointing it out.
