MTNRGR: yep, nu yawk sucks - taxes and king kwomo are the two biggest deterents but, this law of his is not in the clear yet, no matter what the gov't under kwomo sez. There are lawsuits pending that he will not be able to get away from or avoid. Please understand that this greasy meatball is one of those dems who believes he can do as he pleases, without consequence, because he is gov; and worse, he feels like he inherited the job fromhis father. Little differnece between kwomo and kim jong Un or whoever that north korean dictator is. He is almost worse than bloomberg who thinks he can buy the state into keeping the gun law.
One suit by the ny chapter of the NRA, another by a group of lawyers in Buffalo and yet a third are bypassing the ny state courts and moving on to the supreme court for resolution. At least one of these will kill the 7 round provision and one of the others may yet send the law back for further review - and since both kwomo and the legislators who passed this are and have been taking so much heat since it was passed there is a question as to whether it would pass again and if so, how badly gutted it would be. Kwomo would love toput this behind him and herald himself as the savior of ny but he will flatter himself hugely if scotus rules against him because he can say that he tried as best he could but it took the supreme court to say he should go back and review it again - that to him would almost be better than nothing.
OK, so you are now here - welcome aboard. NY, without dems or kwomo is a great place to be, esp with 3 kids and a 75 acre farm. Hunting abounds and depending on where you are the gun laws may have little or no effect as I now understand that 54 of the 57 upstate elected Sheriffs have refused to enforce the law. At this time I would not get rid of anyting, nothing at all and let the air clear on this law and see what happens next. As I said, many of the upstate Sheriffs have refused to enforce the law and more than 3 million gun owners in the state have already stated they will nto comply - which is why he re-publicised his ny sage act, passed one year ago, which offers a $500 reward for people who turn in anyone who owns a illegal firearm. This last aspect has gone viral and has showed up on google already - I'm just waiting for the Jews for the Preservation of Freedom to get their hands on this and raise the spectre of hitler's 1943 act in which he expands firearms ownership to good nazis and germans but denies firearms ownership to the jews. would youbelieve that some scholarly idiots have compared kowmo with hitler and say that the 1934 act in germany was good for germans - sure was buttsniff, but not so good for the 6 million jews they slaughtered, or the other 6 million gypsies, poles, austrians, russians and others who corpses littered the concentraion camps. This ain't over yet Ranger, not by a bit.
