Accessory Barrel Price Increase

Checked the accessory barrel page and there is an across the board increase, looks to be less than 10%.  I'm actually surprised the prices stayed constant as long as they did.

They must be noticing ebay used prices.

Just hope fitting and shipping don't go up too, but the order form being 3yrs old isn't encouraging.

I hope they notice how much Versapack barrels are going for and start making them again...

It's all inevitable, can't expect H&R to build guns for the same price when everything else is increasing in price.

Glad I have about all I need/want. As been said before I wish they would make some thinner barrels in 30-30, 357, 44, etc. I have one new receiver that won't fit any of my barrels and have been thinking of sending it in but can't figure out for what.


Guess that means they need to come up with something new. Light weight 357 talo length, clean barrel   I got a couple bucks saved up if they want it

I agree with you Tim it was inevitable.  I'll be interested to see if the fitting and shipping increase.  With the price increase the difference between the barrel I was looking at and buying a new rifle out the door is $124.  If the fitting and shipping go up much that difference shrinks more.  The new rifle makes sense with the $124 diff, it makes more sense if fit and ship increase. I wonder if that's the goal?

Just think if they offered a versa pack barrel in any of the rim fires out on the market how many would sell even with a price a bigger than any of the center fires.

 I hope they don't price themselves out of the game, you can get an Axis for 3 bills and it has a box mag.
