All Brass Shells In 10 Gauge Pardner
« on: March 28, 2013, 07:33:09 AM »
Thinking about reloading some all brass shells ( 2 7/8 " ) in my 10 gauge Pardner. Since the chamber is supposedly 3 1/2"  was wandering would there be any problem with shooting these shorter brass shells in this gun.
Appreciate any actually experience replies or technical comments!

Streak,
I think the only problem will be the ID of the brass hull being quite a bit bigger than the ID of a brass/plastic hull.  You will have to measure the brass hull and then see if you can find the right size wads, cards, gas seals etc.  Good  luck and report back how it goes, us folks with the 10ga pardners will be waiting. 8)

If you spend a little to get really good reloadable brass from Rocky mountain, it uses all std. components and they have a nice little reloading kit that works with it also.  ;)

Thanks tacklebury,
I have already contacted RMC and will be getting one of their 10 gauge kits! Will probably get some of their brass  later. I have just ordered about 10 pieces from Track of The Wolf!
