Liberalism is about change--- progressive change for the better. On this board, I have seldom seen any criticism of the left that had any basis in fact. Usually, the rightys are indignant about some imaginary spin the got off FauxNose. So here's my dilemma: If I don't say anything, (Usually because the claims are so ridiculous they don't merit a response.) I have to put up with the rightys crowing about how there is no defense for those imaginary slights. If I DO answer, no matter how many facts I give to refute the Faux fairy tales, those same rightys either ignore the facts and start calling names, or they launch yet another diatribe about stereotypical "liberals" whom they blame for all the woes in the world, and start calling names anyway. All I can say is, conservatism today means you want everything to stay the same. Liberal means progress. If you're not moving forward (progressing), you're falling behind (regressing.)

I have never read a responce to any criticism by Right Wingers from you that was based on fact.  In fact you usually try to divert the subject.
As far as blaming all our woes on "stereotypical liberals"... if the shoe fits...
What we want to stay the same is our God given rights, our freedom, and the Judeo-Christian standards for ethics and morality that this country was founded on.

The Obama kids are off vacationing and the best cost cutting measure the President can come up wiht is to close off the white house to tours, so much for the most transparent administration.

CDQ made a comment about Fundamentalists who voted for Romney.  Well I know a WHOLE LOT of fundamentalists who DID NOT vote for either.  Probably one reason Obama won.  They didn't like either and did not vote or voted for the Libertarian or the Constitution party.  MOST DID NOT VOTE for President only for other issues or people.  If Romney had been a Baptist or Methodist, he probably would have gotten at least one or two million more votes minimum.  I think Huckaby would have faired better against Obama.  He has a down home flair, that can relate to the average and common man.  He could have painted Obama as an elitist which he is.

Speaking candidly.. As for myself, it was a last ditch attempt to keep butthead out of the oval office.  By now everyone should know letting him back in was a huge mistake..
  Hopefully the rinos will learn and lead (conservatively), follow or get to H_ _ L out of the way!  ...And the latter one would be by far, the very best choice!
