almost two months to the day of a Kaufman
county assistant district attorney being ambushed
and murdered, the county district attorney and
his wife were found murdered in their home on saturday,
and a little over a week after the chief of prisons
for the state of colorado was murdered.

Sounds like some kind of vendetta. Some people take it personal when they are tried and or convicted.

While I will say this a very bad thing, I will also say to all those prosecutors and defense attorneys that used to criticize me in dealing with armed, aggressive combatants as a peace officer.

Some sayn arien brotherhood, some sayn drug cartels, if you knew what cases they were into you'd have the answer. Bottom line is whomever it is they are not taking prisoners. May only be coruption gone bad. Interesting to see how it plays out. My money is on human nature.

former kaufman county justice of the peace
and reserve officer eric williams and his wife
kim williams are in custody and charged with
three counts of capital murder in the deaths
of asst d.a. mark hasse and d.a. mike mclelland
and his wife cynthia. the case broke after law
enforcement officers searched the home and a
storage unit some miles away that eric williams
had rented and uncovered firearms and the getaway
car williams had purchased under an alias. after
arrest, kim williams confessed to being an accomplice
in the murders and to being the getaway driver.
eric williams had been fired and charged with stealing
computers and county property and had lost his
law enforcement credentials and law license.
