Good News: The incredible Aluminum-Air fuel cell is back....

Old and clean technology is reborn....1000 times more efficient than lithium-ion...Used on submarines. Whole cities could be powered potentially.  Aluminum is the earth's 3rd most common element I believe.  This video gives a run down on the Al-air fuel cell....From the Brits and a little bit 'dry'...nonetheless, electric cars maybe can run 1500 mi range...Interesting technology> hear that Obama!

Builders are trying to go to capacitors and wheel motors. No wear out of batteries and waste to deal with. Don't know the run time. Volvo and Jeep both are looking at it I think. Imagine a capacitor that could "fuel" a car for 400 miles. That capacitor would carry enough electricity to power a thunder storm. Not really that scary, a car battery or even big flashlight batteries can kill a person if handled wrong. ear

Imagine a roof top collector to recharge a capacitor while riding in a electric storm! Wouldn't take long I bet.     ;D   ear
