Turned cool here yesterday(southeast Texas) got down to high 40's last night. Fifties today, no white stuff here for years. at least none that stuck. Everything is getting green, pear trees have lil ones on em and the satsumas have blossoms. Its wet here right now, hope wet is common this year.

Yesterday and the day before it was cold...mid 30's. Drizzle and freezing fog, snowed yesterday about half the day....didn't stick though.  73 today little wind and blue skies.  Be near 80 tomarrow and windy, but were bugging out to Dallas to see my son in the morning about 6:30.  Been kind of a weird year for weather up here north of Amarillo.  God Bless,  Jack

Cut a spruce tree today and it was frozen inside.  Temp only got up into the mid 20s, supposed to be just below zero tonight.  No change through the weekend.

Had ice on the animals water pan yesterday morning. Wind switched around to the south and it made the low 70s before the day was over. Supposed to get into the mid 80s today but it's also supposed to be pretty windy for the next three days. That means that it is spring here and everything is normal. Cold one day, warm the next, windy, and not so windy is just ordinary spring weather in this neck of the woods.

Last week we had spring and summer and then it went back to autumn.  Today looks like April showers.  I'm still hoping for an early freshet for a change.  The freshets used to take place in March and April, but since global warming arrived, we're lucky to be done with it by mid July.

Most of our creeks still need water in them to run at all. I would guess in my area of Kansas that 80%+ of farm ponds are dry or very, very low. Even red cedars trees are dying.

My state just experienced the worst drouth on record in 2011. Last year came in as the third worst. This year is shaping up to displace them.

I saw on the news last night that the little town of Conchas that depends on water from Conchas Lake is due to run out of water in 7 weeks. There is very little snowpack in northern NM to feed any of the streams.

A fresh blanket of snow greeted northern Wisconsin this morning.

They are now telling us we are in for snow for the next four days.  Temps are down in the negative numbers at night and up into the teens during the day.  But we got over 14 hours of sunlight, and gaining seven minutes a day..
