Ben its usless. The warmers have their talking points and no evidence to the contrary will have any effect.  Global warming is caused by consevatives farting and not until we are all eliminated will things cool down.

I've stayed out of picking sides in the politics of it, but the policies affect what I do for a living, and I get more continuing ed opportunities about it than I can stay awake for. Whether its is man-made, barely man-assisted, or the EOTWAWKI, there is something to the fact that its getting warmer. The number of record highs set has increased dramatically. Doesn't mean every day is hotter than the next. Doesn't mean you can extrapolate that it will be 120F in July 2020, but the hourly temps across the world, averaged over the year, have increased at a rate greater than they increased in the past.

The global warmers hate to be reminded of their ice age predictions they made back in the 70's. When its mentioned, they just claim they didn't make those claims.

Storms--- ALL storms--- are driven by atmospheric heat. A one degree rise in global temperature is a LOT more heat. It does not matter how hot it is on the piece of dirt where you're standing--- it's not enough that you would notice, and that is thinking in too simple terms and variables. More and stronger storms will be the first obvious signs of warming. Are there more and stronger storms?

I don't know WHY it's happening, but it's obvious that it IS happening.

 I don't believe too much in this global warming stuff.  Now we have so much more monitoring and many more databases then we did previously.  Much more media covering storms, tornados, etc.  The computer models they use are subject to scrutiny I believe.  I do believe there is nothing wrong with keeping the planet clean and reducing pollution also.  The earth was warmed and cooled since the beginning of creation.

I am still on the fence about the issue, but the world was once hot and humid, then at one point went to cold and frozen leads me to believe if there is a change it may be a natural progression of the world. A way for the world to regulate and cleanse itsself, a change of the seasons, so to speak??

They can't even accurately predict what tomorrows temp will be and they expect me to believe they can tell me what the temp was 10,000 years ago.  I'm not biting.....What we know is that there are climatic cycles, cycles within those cycles and possibly cycles within those cycles.  All it really means is we will just have to adapt to whatever changes come. As creatures on this planet have done for millions of years...........

The world has had many climate changes, both up and down in temperature.  The Vikings thrived on farming in Greenland for a few centuries before climate cooling sometime around 1400AD drove them out.
 
At times the world has been much colder, and much warmer, than it is now.
 
And there has been no increase in temperature for over 10 years.

For every one degree of temprature rise (sensible heat), you get about the same amount of latent heat (humidity).

We'uns in the South may have to move to Minnesota to find the climate we grew up in.

Why don't you also internet look up the number that do.

Also look up the number of countries that do and have policies to control or try to carbon increases.

Then look up how long your countries military has looked at then put plans in place.

Then when you see that the rest of the world understands one little notion that we are slowly changing our climate.

Those who are stuck on a religious idea of we are to small and god does it all will never accept it.  So if you are there you shouldn't spend time on the 4 or 5 websites that help bolster your argument.

Besides that, there are only 4 names on the list that could possibly know anything about global warming, and one of them is retired.  I also notice that the rest of them are involved in "sciences" that CAUSE global warming! What do you bet they are all rightys?
