Also look up the number of countries that do and have policies to control or try to carbon increases.  So, many countries are being run by control freak lefties...and GW is as good a reason as any to add more tax burden on the people!

Then look up how long your countries military has looked at then put plans in place.  The military is run by the Secretary of Defense, a political appointee..  'Nuff said!

Then when you see that the rest of the world understands one little notion that we are slowly changing our climate.  The rest of YOUR world..

Those who are stuck on a religious idea of we are to small and god does it all will never accept it.  So if you are there you shouldn't spend time on the 4 or 5 websites that help bolster your argument on.  Not a "religious" conclusion, just a common sense and evidence bolstered concept.

Wow, glad I hit a nerve.... the joint chiefs work on the report for your military.  It was look over be then head of the AMS who was a rear admiral.  As much as you like Forbes it has always and still is as pro business right wing as you can get short of glen beck.  So as far as a credible source goes it doesn't hold water.

I read a letter to the editor in our local paper that put it in perspective for me.  The writer said that the Earth's age is measured in the billions of years; modern man's existence and observation of the climate in relative terms amounts to trying to determine what is the normal climate by observing and measuring it for 15 seconds. 


Personally, if man has anything at all to do with the climate, I would hope we do warm things up.  I hate cold.


No one has yet explained how CO2 content in our atmosphere affects warming on other planets.  I don't know how the temperature on other planets is determined and really don't care, but it is said that at least some of the other planets have warmed up too.  If that is true, wouldn't it be logical that since the sun is the prime source of heat in our solar system, just maybe sun activity is the prime mover for global warming.  Perhaps CO2 content is a modifier, but CO2 is a relatively small percentage of the atmosphere's makeup and from ice core samples  the climate has been both warmer and colder when CO2 content was much higher than now. 


If those who believe global warming is a bad thing and that it is being caused by man's activities, would quit doing those things, the rest of us would be just fine.

I think that just because a lot of sources agree on global warming is caused by man is just being too lazy.  Why reinvent the wheel, just do like everyone else doing.  Fossil records indicate the earth wobbles and changes it solar tilt every so often and causes great changes in the climate.  Areas that were deserts become oceans, warm areas become cold, etc.  They are probably too scared to take a real look at changes in the earth tilt.  Has been going on since the earth was created.
