They were touting 83% this morning on Fox. Lapierre was trying to say what he felt needed to be done to protect schools but megan the fox babe kept reminding him and interupting him about how the families of the kids felt about guns.   ::)

I keep seeing this stupid commercial where this redneck looking guy on the bed of a truck with a 20ga slug gun says how he'll " Faihht fer ma raaghts" as he holds his shotgun off in the general direction his family behind him is walking torwards. First time i saw it i though "OH NO" and wondered what well meaning group with a lousy film editor was sponsoring it. After listening i realized it was BY THE LEFT as they hoped to trick/appeal to a different audience. The psuodo redneck is pitching for BACKROUND CHECKS and saying we gun owner should all ban together and call Kay Hagan(super lefty) to tell her how bad we want background checks on a universal level, whatever that means aside from registration ::)

A sham commercial by the party of scams.  j

it is easy to get a 90% figure if you are very careful who is polled. Stick to NYC and LA and it would be easy. Take a poll of 10% of each state and you would not get 60% let alone 90%.  Tell a lie long enough and the sheeple will believe.

I saw a commercial put out by the left with a supposed war veteran holding an AR-15 telling why we need universal background checks. He says something to the effect of "The government gave me a background check in order to carry a weapon like this into war". The amount of misinformation being put out by the left is sickening.

They throw those statistics out there and nobody questions them. They also like to claim that 40+ % of gun sales are private. The way they phrase it they insinuate that many of those sales are to people that couldn't pass a background check. The whole situation is frustrating.

My question, with all the money I send the pro gun groups how come I have never viewed a commercial to counter the ones you described. I get tons of mail informing me and begging, I am not the person that needs informing.  This is a question I have asked the NRA several times and never gotten an answer. Am I wrong to think their money would be well spent educating the people that need it and if so why don't they.

most MSM will not run a pro gun commercial or even one that corrects the lies of the left. It has been a long time since equal representation was the law on the media
