Associated Press   A Connecticut shop that sold a gun to the Newtown school shooter's mother has lost its federal firearms license.
 
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives revoked the license of Riverview Gun Sales in East Windsor, about 15 miles north of Hartford, in December. The agency didn't disclose why. It was first reported Thursday by The Journal News of White Plains, N.Y.
Authorities raided the store for undisclosed reasons shortly after the December school shootings. Around the same time, a man was arrested for stealing a rifle from the shop.
Shop owner David LaGuercia has said Nancy Lanza bought a gun from him years ago, but couldn't remember what kind.
Adam Lanza killed 20 first-graders and six adults with his mother's rifle. He also killed his mother and himself.

where the gun store had violated the law
in the sale of the firearms to lanza's
mother.

i would guess they went over his books with a fine tooth comb and found some minor technicality that they could revoke for. selling a gun to some one who years later gets it stolen and is used in a crime is not a reason to revoke the sellers ffl.
 
they will prob do their best to ruin a honest dealers life im sure.

Taking action on the gun store is like blaming the liquor store for drunk driving. Emotionalism is not how to enforce or make laws.

     They probably found a i that was missing a dot or a t that didnt have equal parts on the top!!  When you go thru a bound book you can always find something, I am sure the libs. will be using that infor as a commercial stating that it contributed to the 40% of illigal gun purchases.   Jim
