  Ran across this video and although some may have seen it, its funny enough to watch again. My personal favorite is the guy near the end in the cut off shorts and the t shirt with a ticked off Mountain lion on it. He took it in stride. .     Would i shoot it? Not just for the heck of it i wouldn't and certainly not on camera. Enjoy.  j

I've seen this video a number of times before, and it looks like many of them don't know how to hold a rifle properly. Some of them do, and those guys are the ones that seemed to handle the recoil. Good thing there was no scope on the rifle. It would have been a bloody video.
This rifle does not look like a fun rifle to shoot, and no I wouldn't want to fire it.

Have you guys seen this gawdawful thing? The SSK .905 JDJ. The videos arent quite as impressive but it looks like one hell of a round.

I'd like to shoot a few 25 yard 5 round groups with it!
Then measure them with a yard stick!!!!
Sorta be like trying to keep from flinching when you yank on the trigger knowing Mike Tyson was about to hit you with a left hook

The first guy who shoots that .577 in the video-did he shatter the glass on the door? I laugh everytime I watch those people getting pummeled by that recoil    Maybe the .905 JDJ would be more of an internet sensation if they could find a few suckers to shoot it off hand like that.

There was only one shooter in the group, the rest were wanna-bes.  While I would have loved to shoot it a few years ago, today I don't think so.  No doubt I could handle it, but why?

Why not just go out by the highway and jump in front of a big rig?  I feel the same  way about 44 magnum revolvers and above.  I don't want to shoot anything that hurts me more than whatever I'm shooting at and most likely missing.

MAGOOCH. The biggest pistol I've shot is a Ruger Red khawk 480 ruger. I didn't  find it or the 44 mag uncomfortable. I really liked the 480 and could hit very well with it.
As for that big rifle, yes, I'd like to try it, even though I probably wouldn't want to try twice.
Years ago a guy brought a 458 Win mag to my Uncles place to shoot. He brought 4 rds, He, my cousin, and Uncle fired it, the 4th rd sits on the mantle to this day, none of them wanted it. POWDERMAN.

I shot every big thumper I could get ahold of when I was younger. These days not quite so much. I've picked up some of the big boys in Handi's lately and enjoy the 45-70. But I don't go looking for fire breathers anymore.
