Gotta start somewhere! This is great news for Colt and TEXAS!

Congrats to Texas and Texans!    We are still waiting a definitive word about part of Colt also setting up here in Central Florida.    The original announcement came over a year ago.    I guess we will wait and see if it really happens for us as well.

Breckenridge, located in Stephens County, is a progressive community with a great quality of life as well as extensive educational and business opportunities.

From the Chamber of commerce site!  Sounds like Austin to me.  :o Maybe its so redneck they don't know what "progressive" insinuates.  ::)

Well from what I have seen on Duck Dynasty, they seem to be a rather curious bunch.

Allow me to translate  "redneckersville" into useful points.
In a Texas "redneckersville" community:

"God" is a deity we worship, not a name to take in vain. We go to church on Sunday to hear the word of God, not to be indoctrinated  by radical fakes screaming about, "chickens coming home to roost" and the KKK of A."

"Mother" is the woman who bore us, not the first part of a foul, compound word used as an explative or as a discriptive adjective.

Work is a place we go to every day (on time and sober).  We earn  $$ the old fashion way, we work for it! We pay our taxes and respect the law.

Our families, neighbors, children, the  elderly are respected.  We don't prey on them.

Children who get straight A's in school, receive awards, schlorships, and are held up as role models.  They don't take a beatdown or get murdered in the gutter and called, "sellout."

Our elected officials work for us and they know it..  They do not pat us on the head, treat us like sheeple and say, "We know what's good for you Mr. / Mrs. Taxpayer."

The few (very few) in Texas that will not follow these simple rules, will be tried and sentenced by a jury of their peers, NOT by some liberal judge.

Low Taxes, Right-To-Work, business-friendly, budget in the black, fair & ballanced safety and enviormental laws.  That's Texas!

Why should any arms or arms accesory maker stay in a state openly hostile and hates the product produced, but is more then willing to take the tax $$ from that business?

S&W, it's time for you to "bust a move" and come to Texas!

all firearm and firearm accessory manufacturers need to leave Anti-Second Amendment states.

As consumers we need to boycott Anti-Second Amendment companies like Bank of America. They told McMillan to take their business elsewhere since they had started manufacturing firearms. Well, screw Bank of America. It is definitely NOT Americas bank. Gun shops should boycott BoA credit cards.

That "redneckersville" description sounds a lot like Florida -- PDR of Miami-Dade/Palm Beach/Fort Lauderdale does not count.

Yet, Florida has one great distinction -- the first cowboys came from Florida -- working cattle in the Alachua area since 17th century.   Sorry about that one, Texans, but we do tip our hat to ya!

The ranchers in Florida made all their millions selling and shipping cattle to Cuba, the Bahamas/Caribbean, and to the US military in Key West.     All they had to do was get the cattle to the ports between Ft. Myers and Tampa.   Started long ago with the founding of St Augustine in 1565 by the Spanish.

Florida also supplied most of the Beef for the Confederate Army.  Crackers drove it to the Florida Georgia line, then the Army took it from there.  And Cracker is not a dirogative term to the people living in Central Florida.  They are proud to be of Cracker decent.  A Cracker is the Florida Term for Cowboy.  They carried whips and cracked them to move the cattle.

But them Cracker horses, they are just too small.  I believe they are called Marshtackies, or something like that.

The cattle industry is big and has always been big in Florida.  Just not seen, they keep a low profile.

Went to a big gun show between Orlando and Tampa.  Met a guy from Magpol, and people from several other gun accessory companies.  Many of the small suppliers to the big makers like Magpol was trying to talk the bigger companies to move to Florida.  Good climate, friendly atmosphere, good worker base, and no state income taxes.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I have a book with paintings of the civil war in it. The uniforms worn by the Confederate soldiers
from Florida were the best looking uniforms of either side during that war.
Especilly those worn by the Calvary.
