Difficulty of removing fire control group from receiver?
« on: April 08, 2013, 06:18:15 PM »
I considering painting my receiver when I paint my barrel but want to know how hard it is to remove, and more importantly, replace the fire control group in my 12ga topper?

not hard at all.
a couple of the correct sized
punches. a hammer.

i am assuming you mean the plastic
trigger housing. next one i do is
getting everything painted including
that, with a bit of masking tape
here and there.

the more knowledgeable folks will
be here shortly to go into detail
for you, and don't forget the f.a.q.'s .
everything is there too.
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I must be blind because I can't find it in the FAQ. I'm wondering if it comes out as an entire housing or in pieces (hammer, trigger, springs, etc)

It's a sticky in the H&R Centerfire rifle forum, there's a link near the top of this forum titled FAQs and Help!! *******PLEASE READ********, right now right above this topic. Here's a direct link to Perklo's website, go to the download section and download both parts of the H&R trigger work.
