It was on the history 2 channel here a hunter came cross a mother bigfoot and her two babies. He shot the mother and she dropped then he shot one of the babies and killed it too. He was trying to cover it up when i well known bigfoot hunter got wind of his story. they went back months later and a piece of fur/skin was left. It was sent out to a lab and it came back half human and half animal on the dna. Thats all they said with more testing to done.

Yes, I think you are referring to the Smeja kid, I think thats how you spell it, who tells the story but offers no proof of the event. Yes he did submit a hunk of meat to a lab who suspiciously was in the process of doing a study on bigfoot dna at the time. Melba Ketchum is her name and she is a quack. She offers no real evidence of her claim, and not one single solitary credible scientific journal will even begin to pick up her findings and publish them because of this. I won't go into the whole story of Ketchum, a quick google search will give you all the information you need.

When I first rtead it I saw it as two members of the band little feet were killed I was bumbed
Then I heard it was a big foot and wondered two things.
A) DNA does not work like Doctor Morro's island where it combines half of this and half of that.
DNA will either come back as a known animal or not and if not, what family it belongs to.
B) A couple months in the ground? and there should be bones at least. If it was unearthed by other Big feet then it would have been moved to the sacred grave yard that humans can not find or was eaten by animals in case nothing should have been left.
Leaving a couple deer gut piles, bones and skin out on the farm in NC and it was a large grease spot the next morning.
Tossin a couple of pig scraps out on the bone yard had the pigs filing in and there was nothing the next day when we added to it after butchering the next one.

It either has to be that or Big Foot meat is some of the most tastey meat out there and the bears, Wolfs, coyote, bob cats, weasles, and every other carnavore out there must make a huge B- line strait for the body of a fresh dead Big Foot.

there is no 600 lbs, 8 foot tall primate living undiscovered in the U.S.
ecologically, biologically or otherwise it does not fit ..

Howdy! Most all discussions on Bigfoot usually end with many saying it is simply our imagination or with some saying it is a mammal we have not discovered yet, or that BF is a supernatural manifestation, etc. It is perfectly fine to believe whatever you want to. However, a real scientist would be asking questions and working toward finding out how and why we perceive BF as we do. If it is our imagination only, then how could an experiment be designed that would consistently show that an individual actually sees nothing, but thinks they are seeing BF along with the bad odor, rock throwing, and wood knocks, etc. Or, if you believe BF is a real mammal that we have not discovered yet, how could we conduct a search using the most advanced technology available to find and capture BF. Or, if you think BF is a supernatural manifestation, what technology and experiments could be used to find out more about it. Who knows? It may take years and years for a real conclusion that addresses what BF actually is. Until then, there will be more jokes about BF and discussions ending with it is our imagination, or a mammal we have not discovered yet, or a supernatural manifestation. Always, Gene

Howdy! Criteria that could be tested and replicated would have to be established. It would be a multidisciplanary scientific undertaking for sure. Defining criteria could be a real dilemma though. For example, what could you use to test imagination that manifests itself into an individual seeing a BF? I don't know. How could you design an experiment that could be replicated over and over again with consistent results? It could very well be that there is not enough known yet about human imagination to define criteria for such an experiment. However, to conclude that we don't know enough yet to study it more does not make any sense. As said previously, it may be many years before we really know the answers about BF. Always, Gene
