I've been using mostly CCI primers and Winchester for over 35 years.
My problem is that I have a Colt new service that was once used as a target gun.(Bull Barrel adj sights, target trigger and hammer.
)
It was also converted to singleaction.
And I am pretty sure that the main spring has been lightened.
I put it back to double action,,, but it doesn't have enough power to set off the primers reliability in doubleaction.
I tried an after market main spring but the quality was sub par.
I was wondering if there are any makes of primers that are easier to set off with a light hammer strike.
