Notice that the print ads for the coins says they are beautiful "gold clad" coins. Not gold coins. The amount of gold that is electronically bonded to them is son incredibly thin that they don't even qualify as gold "plated" coins. They are worthless trinkets, with zero gold value since the tiny amount of gold could never be removed and recovered as pure gold. These might make a nice good luck piece for a youngster, but other than that I can't understand why anyone would ever buy one. Now that silver has dropped to $25 an ounce, a silver dollar makes a nicer good luck piece.
