I have killed a few deer with the Speer 150 gr spire points in the 30-30 handi rifle. Tried several powders, mine likes 3031 or Varget. They are fragile enough to work way out there, 150 plus yds, and tough enough to not blow up at 20 feet.

the 125 grn spire point are real killers on deer and coyotes i have shot them with 100 grain plinkers in my handy. my 94 winchester i like the 115 varmiter flat hollow point.
