Rural Oregon School changing tactics with safety
« on: April 17, 2013, 02:07:35 PM »
At least some folks are looking at changing tactics in schools and their safety. This article is in the local paper here near where I live in Oregon.
I don't like it anymore than anyone else but evil is growing in this country and Dialling 911 is not going to stop it.

Sounds like a good program, at least it acknowledges the fact people have a right to protect themselves, and at least some responsibility to protect others if they can.

Ever notice how totally silent the teachers' UNIONS have remained concerning any proactive resistance to armed perpetrators?  Wonder how long before some of the teachers finally figure out their union cares a lot more about it's liberal, anti-gun agenda, than the well being of it's members?

I mean, if the welfare of it's members (which they purport) was the priority of the union then you'd think the union would be literally screaming for effective security to protect the teachers.  But, by their actions (actually non-action) they make it very clear that safety is low on their agenda.
