Community of West Texas devastated by plant explosion
« on: April 17, 2013, 08:25:04 PM »
A fertilizer plant in the town of west texas, between
hillsboro and waco exploded with the force of what
the u.s.g.s. said was like a 2.1 magnitude earthquake.
a nearby school is on fire, many homes are damaged,
and an apartment complex and nearby nursing home
were damaged. the injured number over 100 so far, with
no total on fatalities. most reports are still vague, but
it was said earlier that the volunteer firefighters that
initially responded to the fire are unaccounted for.
hopefully that will change as they get a handle on it. :(

Terrible thing for those in close proximity.  Prayers for the victims and families.

No way to know yet what caused the fire, but sure has been a lot of "coincidences" the last few days.

This is the anniversary of Waco.  Several other "anniversaries" occur in the period of a week or so this time of year - and a lot of weird stuff going on.  Coincidence?  Don't know, but it sure seems like there's more than the "normal" amount of coincidence.

in west at the time, and responded with
the volunteers when the fire broke out.
