Will it ever return to normal?
« on: April 18, 2013, 03:22:01 AM »
It is a sad time when a person can no longer walk into a store in Wisconsin, and buy some 22 shells or other shells as well. What is the answer?

We can hope so but if your definition of normal is much like mine then I kinda doubt we'll ever see that kind of ready availability and especially not at realistic prices.

i personally think things will come back pretty much to "normal"
Seems like most of these shortages, high prices, etc are cyclical.
i do agree, though, that we are living in very, very different times.  The majority of Americans I feel are "with us" but the majority of politicians aren't.  The more things that get decided by Washington, hollywood, and the east coast instead of at the state level, the worse it will all get.

I think we won a temporary reprieve in the U.S. Senate yesterday and guns and components will slowly become more available and maybe the prices may drop a little. BUT...next year is an election year and the gun control gang will be back with a vengence and the panic will be re-fueled. Hopefully this mess will motivate more gun owners to vote...

I agree, public opinion as I perceive it, is not with gun owners or supporters of the original 2nd Amendment provided the general public even cares and the 2nd isn't the only one that fails to have the public's attention.

Sad, that our grandchildren and great grandchildren will never know the freedom that we had.  Gun safety and responsibility was taught to me from the time I could walk on up.
