Great photos, fine birds. I can't think of a better day afield in the spring, though a good day on the Roanoke in pursuit of Stripers might be close...

Thanks for the pics. Very nice! Looks like a good hunt, and good turkey hunting weather. (I think your son got the prettier bird. Dang kids are always doing stuff like that. Sorry. But any gobbler is a good one, and yours is not far behind. Very fine, in fact. I'd be very happy to take such a bird.)

Thanks guys. I actually shot the prettier bird......when they were alive. Trouble was he was the dominant Tom. He came in with two others and I guess he had been letting them know who was boss. When I shot him the other two took advantage of him being down and tore into him like he owed them money! Did a job on his feathers as it took my son a few  to get a good shot with them jumping around on my bird. Even after my son shot his the remaining bird actually kicked both dead birds over the lip of the ridge before running off. We had to climb down and get them. lol

I've seen then do so on flm but that was the frst timeI witnessed it personaly. My son got it on video.
