Mushrooms are up

I found 51 this afternoon. Real nice size for the early ones, not as big average as the 4 I found last Thur., but enough that I can get 2, 8 in. skillets that the lid won`t quite fit down on. I`m hopping this is goung to be a real good year for them. Late start, but comming on fast now.

Good to hear someone's seeing them, I'm envious. If they were up around here they'd be covered with a few inches of new snow.

Wife came home from the store the other day and said they had the Morel mushrooms packaged in the cooler. Said you better sit down when I tell you how much they wanted for them,,,, I said how much and she says $12 for six mushrooms. She thought it was a miss print so she picks up a couple more packages and sure enough they were priced the same.   RRM
