It has dovetailed sights.  Always a plus.  :D  The barrel looks shorter than 16".

Very interesting extractor slot they cut in. Looks like anything from a shovel point down will extract the spent shell.

interesting concept.if the gun is accurate. a good machinest could duplicate it in several calibers if the internel barrel could be easily removed. perhaps set screws at intervals in the 12 ga barrel to secure the inner barrel. this would of course make the 12 ga barrel inoperable for 12 ga use.

it looks like a tool was used for extraction.i would attach it to the sling with a thong.

to be honest i think its just a case of a good machinest/gunsmith with too much time on his hands.and a hey "lets see if i can do this and make it work" attitude.

i think its cool and would buy it if i needed one.

There was a 'mother of invention' and this is the 'child'; certainly a different creative approach and likely fine for the caliber.
With just a little more thought the forestock stud section could have been eliminated (no more work compared to what was done) and with a little more of both the ejector could have been functional.
Still, he (whomever) did it, and it is said it works (and looks like it should); just low points for handsome or big points for homely.

to be honest, if it works, who cares what it looks like? looks fine to me.

Well, I considered making him a token offer because it's "interesting" but the ad has been deactivated by the seller-whatever that means.  GW

What a disaster that is.  Larry

My first thought was "why there is a easier way".  But then I look in the mirror and see someone who might fall down the same rabbit hole, I would just come out the other side looking a little better than that.
