The billion dollar boondoggle

For some reason our federal government which now has us in $17 trillion debt..has decided to build a high speed rail project  essentially from Cactus hump, NV.. to.. Noplace, CA.   They have been told time and again by voices of experience, that such a project is simply wasted money..a govt boondoggle in the making.
  Meanwhile Sen Feinstein (D-CA) goes on doing Obama favors, the most recent one pushing hard for confiscation of our guns and 2nd amendment rights.
 
  In the last couple days the contract was awarded for the lucrative boondoggle.  Guess who was awarded the contract!
 
  Surprise..surprise.. the contract was awarded to the company run by Feinstein's husband !

   The contract was awarded to him, even though (according to the article) he has been caught several times with his mitts in the taxpayers cookie jar!

Probably a line of Realestate brokers with "options to buy" on property in the proposed route. ear

  How do we seperate these people from ordinary, everyday, pick pockets, purse snatchers and mail box robbers?
           I guess the only difference is in the size of their "haul".
