I was thinking of ordering one of the Skinner Barrel Mount Peep Sight (
http://skinnersights.com/barrel_mount_6.html) which fits in a 3/8" dovetail to replace the flip up open sight on my Anschutz 1416 D.
But it occurs to me that the Germans may use some other metric size for their dovetails and the 3/8" might not be correct for my rifle.
Can anyone verify for me the correct size of the dovetail?
