a few  i have even replaced  at a much  higher price....my 35 rem comes to mind

Good reminders!  I'm not in any big hurry to sell the gun.  If it goes, it goes.  If not I'll keep playing with it.  We're going to WY in a few weeks, maybe I'll get to see what it does to a prairie dog.
