At home barrel swap?
« on: May 01, 2013, 03:24:48 PM »
So,  I see a lot of folks on the forum have swapped barrels on their HR Handi-Rifles at home, themselves, as opposed to sending them in to the factory.  I wondered if there is a guide someplace or directions for a Handi-Guy to do it himself?  I have what I believe is an SB2 receiver with an NT serial number made in 2009.  It is like brand new and currently has a .50 caliber Huntsman barrel installed.  I would like to have a .30/30 or .45 colt barrel for it if I could install it myself.  Any advice?

I think if it came as a huntsman it's on a shotgun type frame. go onto the H&R section of GB and you will find hours and HOURS of reading. all the info you could possibly want and lots of people to ask questions.
